Job summary

Precision Recruitment Group Ltd invites experienced bricklayers to join a busy new build residential project in Shrewsbury. The role focuses on laying specialist tile bricks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring quality finishes on all brickwork.

You will work a 41.5-hour week (07:30-16:30, Mon-Thu, 3:00 finish on Fri). The position is site-based and requires reliability, initiative, and the ability to work well within a small team.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is required.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Bricklayer.
• Previous experience on new build residential projects is required.
• Detail-oriented brickwork is advantageous.
• This role requires careful, quality-focused bricklaying over speed.

Responsibilities

• Lay specialist tile bricks as per approved panel.
• Carry out detailed brickwork including specialist ends and corners.
• Ensure brickwork is accurate and finished to the required standard.
• Maintain correct lines, levels and overall appearance.
• Work with other trades and the Site Management Team.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe, following site health & safety procedures.

Job description

Precision Recruitment Group are looking for 2-3 experienced Bricklayers to work on a busy new build residential project based in Shrewsbury. The work will predominantly involve laying specialist tile bricks and is expected to run for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Working hours 07:30-16:30, Monday to Thursday, 3:00 finish Friday's - minimum 41.5 hours paid

Duties

• Laying specialist tile bricks in accordance with the approved sample panel
• Detailed brickwork including specialist ends and corners
• Ensuring all brickwork is completed accurately and to the required standard and finish
• Working carefully to maintain the correct lines, levels and overall appearance
• Working alongside other trades and the Site Management Team
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Following all site health & safety procedures at all times

About you

• Valid CSCS Card
• Right to Work in the UK
• Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Bricklayer
• Previous experience working on new build residential projects
• Previous experience carrying out detailed or specialist brickwork would be advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Must understand that this is detailed, slower-paced brickwork where quality and accuracy are more important than speed
• Enthusiastic and MUST be able to use initiative whilst working unsupervised
• Reliable and comfortable working as part of a small team
• Working references ideally from previous jobs
