Job summary

Net Temps Limited is recruiting for an experienced Brick Pointer to join a busy precast concrete factory in Colwick. This temp-to-perm role offers long-term career prospects, ongoing training, and a stable working environment with early start hours.

You will point brick slips, finish mortar joints to specification, and perform finishing work on precast products while complying with health and safety rules and maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

Net Temps Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precast manufacturing company that is looking for experienced Brick Pointers to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position with a reputable employer offering long-term career prospects and ongoing training.

Working within a busy precast concrete factory, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished products by accurately pointing brick slips and carrying out finishing work to a high standard.

Job Details

• Location: Colwick
• Pay Rate: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday
• Shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm

Key Duties

• Pointing brick slips using mortar to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Applying and finishing mortar joints to specification.
• Carrying out repairs and cosmetic finishing work on precast concrete products.
• Cleaning and preparing concrete panels prior to finishing.
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Assisting with general manual labour and production duties as required.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in brick pointing, bricklaying, masonry, or a similar finishing role.
• Own transport is essential due to the location and early start times.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work to high-quality standards.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team.
