Aligra Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Production Operative in Alfreton to join a busy manufacturing team. The role focuses on hands-on concrete production tasks and requires careful attention to cleaning, set-up, and safety practices.

You will work with moulds and concrete materials, operating hand and power tools while adhering to quality standards and timekeeping expectations. The position offers shift flexibility and potential for long-term progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction or manufacturing is essential.
• Confident with hand tools and power equipment safety.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Setting up moulds accurately to prepare for concrete production.
• Pouring and levelling concrete to ensure high-quality finished products.
• Using an abrasive wheel to clean reusable cast-in components such as steel pins.
• Cutting and drilling rubber pads that are fitted into the concrete.
• Performing concrete repairs and general finishing duties with attention to detail.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards within the production area.
• Working to strict health and safety guidelines at all times.
