Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Breast Screening Data Assistant to support NBSS data entry and mandatory reporting (KC62, BASO) within the Breast Screening Service.

You will handle data from multiple sources, liaise with clinicians and staff, and maintain records and reports, including MDT records, contributing to service delivery in a busy environment. Attention to detail and NHS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education.
• IT skills equivalent to NVQ2 or relevant experience with Microsoft Word, predominantly Excel.
• Experience in administrative roles and using Excel/PowerPoint/Word.

Responsibilities

• Data entry into NBSS to support KC62/BASO reporting within required timescales.
• Assist data coordinator to ensure data quality and validity of reports/analyses.
• Maintain MDT treatment decision records and ensure timely NBSS updates.
• Participate in audits of colleagues' data work.
• Support development of data management within the Screening Service.
• Produce lists, reports and maintain NBSS records.
• Assist with data entry for interval cancer cases.
