Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of working with patients.

• Knowledge of the NHS Breast Screening Programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist Consultant Surgeon / Radiologist in the Breast screening unit during biopsy procedures.
• Preparation and checking of equipment prior to biopsy procedure.
• Chaperoning of patients during consultation and clinical examination.
• Preparation of procedure trolley for ultrasound biopsy/Punch Biopsy.
• Application of dressing following biopsy procedure in accordance to the aseptic technique.
