Job summary

The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust seeks a Consultant Radiologist with a Breast Imaging focus to lead and develop the breast radiology service across the Trust and community sites. You will provide general diagnostic radiology and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education, audit and clinical governance as part of a high performing team.

Qualifications

• FRCR qualification or equivalent and GMC Specialist Register in Clinical Radiology must be obtained.
• Eligible for entry on GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT.
• Experience in breast imaging and ability to supervise junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead provision of breast radiology services with Breast Clinicians and radiographers.
• Provide general elective and emergency radiology services for the Trust.
• Support and supervise junior medical staff and contribute to education and audits.
• Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R 2000 and clinical governance.
