Job summary

Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with breast imaging expertise to join a team of 32 radiologists. The post focuses on mammography reporting, breast ultrasound, and interventional procedures, with expected participation in the Breast MDT and symptomatic clinics.

Experience in MRI breast reporting and vacuum-assisted techniques is desirable; a proactive role in service development and teaching is encouraged. Welsh language skills are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Registration with the GMC and FRCR in Radiology.
• Eligibility for GMC Specialist Register in Radiology.
• Current UK licence to practice radiology.

Responsibilities

• Report mammography, Breast and axillary Ultrasound.
• Perform image-guided biopsy of breast and axilla.
• MRI breast reporting and vacuum-assisted procedures desirable.
• Lead or participate in Breast MDT and clinics.
