Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Breast Radiology to join Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth. The post supports general radiology and symptomatic breast imaging, with potential screening sessions in the Welsh Breast Screening Programme.

The successful candidate will report on-site and collaborate with a team of consultants, with options for full- or part-time working and occasional cross-site travel to support breast

Qualifications

• Experience in Breast Radiology and reporting.
• Competence in mammography reporting and breast/axillary ultrasound.
• Ability to participate in breast MDT and on-call arrangements.

Responsabilités

• Deliver breast radiology services across Hywel Dda region.
• Report mammography, breast ultrasound and image-guided biopsy.
• Participate in breast MDT and cross-site reporting; support screening where applicable.
• Contribute to development of breast imaging pathways.
