Job summary

The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Breast Assessment Team Leader to provide leadership and co-ordination of the Breast Assessment Clinics administration and clerical functions across Leicester's hospital sites.

You will oversee the Assessment Admin Team, ensure data accuracy for Clinical Governance and audit, and support patients while working closely with the Administration Manager and Deputy Administration Manager.

Qualifications

• Math and English GCSE or equivalent.
• Accurate and concise keyboard skills.
• Excellent standard of written and spoken English.
• European Computer Driving Licence.
• RSA I/II qualification.
• NVQ 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective management, administration and coordination of all clerical procedures concerning Breast Assessment Clinics in accordance with National Quality Assurance Guidelines.
• Oversee and lead the Assessment team ensuring staff are trained and competent to prepare and sit the clinics.
• Attend Breast MDTs; collate results and notes for Breast Screening Results Clinics.
• Ensure clinical correspondence meets NHSBSP quality targets and input/output patient information.
• Lead and mentor clerical staff and support the Administration Manager and Deputy.
• Travel across sites to oversee service delivery as required.
