Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a reliable Breakfast Supervisor to oversee pupils during arrivals and service, and assist with refreshments and dining room duties. The role is 3.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, before 9am, during term time (38 weeks), with an annualised pay arrangement.

The ideal candidate will have good people skills, prior supervision experience with children, basic food safety knowledge, and a willingness to learn. DBS checked required.

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Breakfast Supervisor to supervise pupils on arrival and during service. You may also be required to assist with the serving of refreshments and undertake general dining room duties to include clearing and wiping down of tables.

This post is for 3.75 hours per week / 45 minutes per day. Hourly rate is £13.45.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday before 9am, term time only (38 weeks), ideal to fit around family commitments / the school day. We offer an ‘annualised’ pay scheme so that our staff who work term time receive pay over 52 weeks.

The Candidate

Level 2 - You will need a basic level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
