Job summary

The Coaching Inn Group is seeking a friendly, organised Breakfast Supervisor for Moorland Hotel in Haytor. You’ll lead the breakfast service, motivate the team and ensure guests receive a warm welcome and a delicious start to their day.

You’ll manage service flow, assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and food hygiene, train new staff, and uphold our high hospitality standards. Early shifts, weekend work and a positive, proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality, restaurant or hotel environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a team, or the ambition to take the next step in your hospitality career.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the breakfast team and lead by example throughout service.
• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly and professional approach.
• Ensure breakfast service runs smoothly, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support with food preparation, presentation and replenishment.
• Keep tables, service areas and the restaurant clean and welcoming.
• Monitor food levels and communicate with the kitchen team.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure food hygiene, health & safety and company standards are followed.
• Train and support new team members.
• Foster a positive and enjoyable working environment.
