Job summary

Dakota Hotels seeks a morning person to join as Assistant Breakfast Manager in our Glasgow hotel. The role focuses on leading the breakfast service, finishing by midday to suit evening commitments. You will drive guest service, mentor the breakfast team, and work closely with the Bar and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.

The successful candidate will have prior restaurant management experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication to maintain our high standards.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience as an Assistant Manager or above in a similar full-service restaurant
• Four years' experience working in restaurants
• Strong leadership with hands-on approach
• Excellent communication and sociable personality
• Able to work at pace and be proactive during shifts
• Detail-oriented with pride in work
• Flexible with shift patterns
• Researching our brand and wanting to be part of the team

Responsibilities

• Provide highest levels of guest service with personalised dish and beverage recommendations
• Collaborate with Bar and Kitchen to ensure smooth communication
• Run the restaurant throughout Breakfast service
• Lead by example and delegate tasks proactively
• Maintain knowledge of current breakfast menu and allergens
• Roster tasks and oversee breakfast team performance
• Oversee table turnover and section management
