Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a passionate catering assistant to support breakfast, lunch and hospitality services across the site. You will help keep front of house and kitchen areas clean, follow safe food handling procedures, and ensure smooth service for customers.

Successful candidates will have good health & safety knowledge, a flexible, team-oriented attitude, and strong organizational skills. National Security Clearance and a full UK Driving Licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch & hospitality services across the site
• Maintain cleanliness of the front of house and kitchen areas
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and prevent contamination.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers
• Participate in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
• Ideally have experience working within a customer facing catering environment
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
• Fun and enthusiastic
• Have excellent organization skills
• Demonstrate great attention to detail
