Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management is seeking a friendly Breakfast Host to provide an inviting morning service in our Glasgow hotel restaurant. You will greet guests, help with breakfast setup, replenish items, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential as you support the kitchen and front-of-house teams. Flexible morning shifts and a supportive team environment are offered, with opportunities to grow within the hotel group.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable attitude with a passion for making mornings special.
• Great attention to detail to keep breakfast areas clean and welcoming.
• Previous food service or hospitality experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are valued.
• Strong time management to handle setup, service and clean-up during morning shifts.
• Team-oriented mindset with readiness to work with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Flexibility and reliability to handle early shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet early risers with a warm smile as guests enter the dining area.
• Prepare and replenish breakfast items, keeping everything well-stocked.
• Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all breakfast areas.
• Be available for guest questions and provide local recommendations.

What We Need From You

• A friendly, approachable attitude with a passion for making mornings special for guests.
• Great attention to detail to keep the breakfast area and buffet looking fresh, organised, and appetising.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are even more important.
• Strong time management skills to manage set-up, service, and clean-up efficiently within a busy morning shift.
• A team-oriented mindset, ready to work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a smooth breakfast experience.
• Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to handle early morning shifts and adapt to changing guest needs.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests.
