Job summary

Aethos London Shoreditch is seeking a Breakfast Host to greet guests and create a warm first impression in our stylish breakfast restaurant.

You will provide efficient service, attend to guests with a friendly, professional manner, and help deliver an exceptional, personalised experience while maintaining brand standards. Eligible UK work status required; join a team with health and wellbeing benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience in lifestyle boutique hotels or fine dining is preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and maintain poise.

THE ROLE

As a Breakfast Host you will be responsible for greeting all guests who walk into our breakfast restaurant, providing a great first impression

Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

• Provide exceptional quality service to guests in a quick and efficient manner in line with hotel and brand standards
• Be naturally welcoming and engaging, and comfortable in your ability to multi-task, prioritise and remain calm under pressure
• Greet guests and create an exceptional and memorable experience
• Anticipate guest’s needs and provide them with a personalised, crafted experience

ABOUT YOU

• Ideally you would have previous hospitality experience with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination fine dining restaurant or cocktail lounge/bar
• Have an open and approachable manner and thrive on interacting with people
• Have great communication skills, a sense of humour and a welcoming smile
• An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service
• An eye for detail and be immaculately presented
