The Inn Collection Group invites a Breakfast Chef to join The Stables at Whitby, a charming inn by the North York Moors. You’ll take full responsibility for your section during service, ensuring freshness, presentation and stock management in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience as a breakfast chef or in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Commitment to fresh food environments.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety and stock labelling according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage breakfast service, ensuring presentation and consistency.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and proper stock storage with correct labelling and dating.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.

You’ll Fit Right Inn

As Breakfast Chef, you’ll play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are key. A natural early riser, punctual and consistent, your experience in a similar role and commitment to fresh food environments will shine through as you take full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service. You will maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality, ensuring the appropriate storage, labelling, and dating of all food stock following company policy and legislation.

You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, demonstrating strong communication, time-keeping, and organisational skills.
