Oakfields Preparatory School is seeking a caring Breakfast & After School Club Assistant to provide safe, welcoming wraparound care before and after the school day at Oakfields Prep, Upminster.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and supervise pupils before and after the school day.
  • Support a range of fun, age-appropriate activities.
  • Prepare and serve healthy snacks and refreshments.

  • Support emotional wellbeing and confidence of pupils.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, engaging environment.
  • Keep attendance records and follow collection procedures.
  • Assist with setup and tidying of club areas.

Location: Oakfields Prep, Harwood Hall Lane, RM14 2YG
Salary: £14.87 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 7.00am to 9.00am & 2.15pm to 6.15pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time

Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll help create positive experiences that support children's wellbeing, independence and social development while maintaining the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

What you will be doing
  • Welcoming and supervising pupils before and after the school day.
  • Supporting a variety of fun, creative and age-appropriate activities.
  • Preparing and serving healthy snacks and refreshments.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, inclusion and friendship-building.
  • Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and confidence.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and engaging environment.
  • Keeping attendance records and following collection procedures.
  • Assisting with the set-up and tidy-up of club areas and resources.
