Job summary

First Step Sports Group is seeking enthusiastic Active Care Assistants to support our Morning and After School Club in Bawtry. You will deliver play-based activities for children aged 4-11, helping with breakfast and ensuring safeguarding and positive relationships with parents, carers and school staff.

Based in Yorkshire with an expanding network, the group operates across several divisions including First Step Physical Education, First Step Training, and Kids Takeover.

Qualifications

• Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Morning and After School Club
• Deliver a safe, engaging and age-appropriate experience for children aged 4-11
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and school staff

• Deliver creative, play-based activities that entertain and inspire children
• Prepare and serve a light breakfast/tea for attending children
• Support the ordering and management of food and supplies
• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all children in care
