Job summary

Hough Green Garage in Hereford is seeking motivated, adaptable drivers to join our 24/7 breakdown and recovery team. You will attend breakdowns and accident scenes, safely recover and transport vehicles, perform vehicle checks, and use our PDA systems to log jobs.

You must hold a full UK driving licence, a DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and be able to pass police vetting with a clean record. We offer day and night shifts, weekly pay, overtime and call-out pay, PPE and uniform, and

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Proven driving experience preferred; not essential.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass police vetting.
• Good local geographical knowledge is beneficial.
• Basic mechanical understanding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and accident scenes across our operational area.
• Safely recover and transport vehicles from motorways and major routes.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain a tidy vehicle/yard.
• Ensure all jobs are completed using company PDA systems.
• Assist with moving vehicles within the depot as required.
• This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
