Job summary

Qualifications

• Bread production experience in bakery, food production or hospitality.
• Leadership or supervisory experience with team motivation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work weekends and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in day-to-day bread production, meeting standards and demand.
• Support the Production Manager and lead the department when required.
• Lead bakery shifts, supervise colleagues and foster a productive environment.
• Produce breads, cakes, biscuits, traybakes and pastries.
• Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, cleanliness and service.
• Follow production plans to improve productivity, efficiency and quality.
• Uphold HACCP, safety standards and required checks/documentation.
• Train and coach team members including inductions and development.
• Collaborate with bakery team and attend planning meetings as needed.
