Job summary

Diageo’s Lagavulin Visitor Centre seeks a Brand Home Guide to welcome guests from around the world and deliver engaging tours and tastings.

You will create memorable experiences through storytelling and superb service, while supporting ticket sales, retail, and premium experiences at one of Scotland’s most iconic destinations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging guided tours and tastings showcasing brand story and heritage.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support ticket sales.
• Assist across retail and F&B with merchandising and product recommendations.
• Support planning and delivery of events and visitor experiences year-round.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Diageo and its Scotch whisky brands.

About the Role

As a Brand Home Guide, you’ll be the face of one of our iconic visitor experiences. You’ll welcome guests from around the world, deliver engaging tours and tastings, and create memorable experiences through exceptional customer service, storytelling and genuine passion for our brands.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver engaging guided tours and tasting experiences that bring our brands, heritage and whisky-making process to life. Welcome visitors with exceptional customer service while supporting ticket sales and promoting the full Brand Home experience. Provide outstanding service across retail and food & beverage, including merchandising, replenishment and product recommendations. Support the planning and delivery of special events and visitor experiences throughout the year. Act as a passionate ambassador for Diageo and our brands, creating memorable experiences for every visitor. Work collaboratively across the Brand Home to maintain exceptional operational and customer service standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in tourism, hospitality and premium experiences. You’ll receive comprehensive training, develop your whisky knowledge and become part of a team delivering world-class visitor experiences at one of Scotland’s most iconic destinations.

Experience / Skills Required

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service within hospitality, tourism, retail or another customer-facing environment.
• A friendly, engaging and confident communication style with a genuine enthusiasm for meeting people from around the world.
• A customer-first mindset with the ability to create memorable and personalised experiences.
• A positive, resilient and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Previous experience leading tours or knowledge of Scotch whisky would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
