Job summary

BMW Group in Farnborough is seeking an Events Assistant for a Placement Year (July 2027). You will support delivery of experiential events, manage logistics, and work with multiple departments to align with BMW Marketing strategy and brand objectives.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree with at least a 2:2, show strong project management, budgeting, and communication skills, and are prepared to travel in a premium automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
• Demonstrable project management ability including planning/organisation and meeting deadlines.
• Passion for the automotive industry and understanding of working in a premium brand environment.
• Excellent organisation and budget planning skills with outstanding attention to detail.
• Creative, analytical, and strategic thinking.
• Collaborate with internal brand teams to ensure activity is integrated across channels.
• Confident driver with full driving licence; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and planning for all related activities, including project managing bespoke elements to ensure professional planning and execution of experiential activities.
• Collaborate across teams and with third parties to maximise impact of activities.
• Assist with communication and amplification of experiential activities with Marketing Communications, Press, and Retailer Communications.
