We’re looking for a Brand Creative to join the team at Map Room. Someone who lives and breathes content, has an eye for great design, and knows how to bring stories to life across every channel.

Map Room is a practitioner-led consulting firm based in the UK. We’re now building out our Brand team to help shape the next phase of our growth. You’ll be joining at a moment where brand drives everything - fuelling our reputation, reach, and relevance with the audiences who matter most: our candidates, contractors, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop written and visual content for a variety of platforms (social media, websites, blogs, and digital campaigns) across our brands and to help increase our leadership team’s personal brand online. Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all internal and external content.
  • Audio/Video/Photo Production: Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality video and audio content, including podcasts and promotional materials, ensuring brand alignment across all collateral.
  • Social Media Management: Take charge of our social media channels, particularly LinkedIn. Create and distribute engaging content, establish a regular content schedule, monitor and report on performance analytics, and grow our social media presence.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Help create beautifully designed and optimised experiences for prospective customers via the Map Room website. Help manage digital assets within Map Room’s CRM for us in brand campaigns that drive growth.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work closely with Practice Directors to design and create content that resonates with our target audience, while maintaining consistency in brand visuals and messaging across all internal and external collateral.
  • Follower Growth: Increase follower count and engagement across social media platforms by delivering innovative and impactful content that drives interaction and brand awareness.
  • Delivery Support: Support Map Room customers with content creation, and lead creative sessions and workshops to improve their internal and external communications.
  • Creative Project Management: Lead creative projects from concept to completion, including digital content archiving for future reuse.

Who You Are:

  • Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about content creation across various mediums.
  • Strong skills in graphics, photography, videography, and audio production, with the ability to (or experience in) managing/producing podcast-style content.
  • Experience managing and growing social media accounts, specifically LinkedIn/Youtube/Meta.
  • A digital marketing mindset and social media savvy, with the ability to create and execute campaigns.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with teams effectively.
  • Proven experience in creating high-quality digital assets, from graphics to video content.
  • Comes with a strong portfolio of evidence.
  • Creativity isn’t just a job, it’s what you’d be doing anyway.

Tools & experience:

  • Fluent with Adobe Creative Cloud: Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Confident shooting with mirrorless cameras
  • You know how to light and shoot an interview or podcast, with crystal-clear audio

Bonus Experience:

  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is a bonus, especially if you understand how content supports marketing and customer growth
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO, web optimisation, and how to shape content for discoverability and performance is a plus

Requirements

  • A portfolio that showcases ability: video, design, photography, web or other
  • Previous experience in a creative role: freelance or in-house
  • Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel for creative projects
  • Ability to work on-site at the Map Room office in Stoke
