Job description

About Fiskars Group

At Fiskars Group we are unified and driven by our common purpose: pioneering design to make the everyday extraordinary. Join our team and seize the extraordinary opportunity to influence the everyday!

Digital Asset Management (DAM) Intern Middleton, WI Part-time; 10 hours/Week Hybrid (1 day onsite)

About Fiskars Group

At Fiskars Group, we’ve been making the everyday extraordinary for over 375 years. From our iconic orange-handled scissors to beloved home and outdoor brands, we’re driven by timeless design, innovation, and a passion for creating better living experiences. Behind every beautiful campaign and product story is a powerful system that keeps it all organized—and that’s where you come in.

About the Role

Are you the kind of person who loves bringing structure to chaos? Who notices the duplicate file, the missing tag, or the slightly off naming convention? As our Digital Asset Management (DAM) Intern, you’ll play a key role in a global transformation—helping us migrate our digital asset library from EMMi to Bynder. Your work will ensure that thousands of brand and marketing assets are clean, searchable, and ready to support teams around the world. You’ll collaborate closely with our DAM Migration Project Lead, European Brand & Communications team, and technical partners—helping build a scalable, intuitive asset library that fuels creativity across Fiskars Group.

What You’ll Do
  • Bring Clarity to Our Content
  • Identify and remove duplicate assets using defined naming and versioning rules
  • Validate file formats, naming conventions, and resolution standards
  • Flag outdated or low-quality assets for review or archival
  • Prepare and package assets for seamless migration into Bynder
  • Make Assets Easy to Find
  • Apply metadata tags using structured taxonomy and governance standards
  • Ensure consistency across key fields like campaign, region, and usage rights
  • Support mapping legacy metadata from EMMi into Bynder
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and usability
  • Support a Global Migration
  • Organize assets into logical, scalable structures
  • Assist with uploading assets during phased migration waves
  • Document issues and collaborate on solutions with the project team
  • Build for the Future
  • Maintain logs of processed and migrated assets
  • Update documentation as workflows evolve
  • Follow DAM governance and asset lifecycle best practices
What You Bring
  • A sharp eye for detail and a love for organization
  • Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Comfort working with digital files (images, video, documents)
  • Strong time management and ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks
  • Clear communication and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Curiosity and openness to learning new systems and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
Nice to Have
  • Experience with DAM platforms (Bynder, AEM, Canto, Brandfolder, etc.)
  • Background in metadata tagging, content organization, or data cleanup
Why This Role Matters

This role is more than migration—it’s about enabling creativity at scale. The structure you help build will empower teams across the globe to find the right asset at the right time, ensuring brand consistency and unlocking efficiency in how we tell our stories.

What We Offer
  • A chance to be part of a meaningful global transformation
  • Collaboration with international teams across Brand & Communications
  • A flexible hybrid work environment
  • The opportunity to contribute to a company with heritage, purpose, and design at its core

Last day of application: 2026-09-17
