LKQ is seeking a Duty Manager to join our branch leadership team in the United Kingdom. You will oversee daily operations across retail, warehouse and fleet, drive service excellence, and develop a high-performing team while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role offers variety, career growth and an opportunity to influence branch performance. You’ll lead across multiple functions, coach staff, manage KPIs, and ensure cost control while delivering an outstanding customer experience

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within retail, warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience managing KPIs and operational performance.
• A customer-focused mindset with a drive to deliver outstanding service.
• Good knowledge of stock control and operational processes.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence business performance.
• Confidence working with operational systems and reporting tools.
• A flexible approach and the ability to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Leading the operation across retail, warehouse and fleet to ensure safe, efficient and commercial branch performance.
• Coaching, motivating and developing colleagues and delivering short, engaging daily briefings.
• Recruitment, onboarding and succession planning to build a flexible, high-performing team.
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience and resolving queries professionally.
• Monitoring costs, payroll and productivity and using KPIs to drive improvements.
• Maintaining safety, compliance and stock controls across all activities.
