Brandon Hire Station is seeking a Branch Manager in the Exeter area to lead the branch’s performance, health and safety, and a motivated team. You will drive revenue, manage costs, and ensure efficient deliveries and stock control while fostering strong internal and external relationships.

The role demands strong leadership, P&L experience, and a track record of coaching and achieving targets in a fast-paced tool hire environment. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a branch or similar operation
• Experience managing full P&L and budgets
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Proven ability to manage change and adapt
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
• Demonstrated motivational leadership and coaching
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
• Excellent administration and accuracy in record-keeping
• Must be able to work on own initiative and take ownership
• Desirable: experience in tool hire or related equipment sectors
• Desirable: knowledge of small tools and plant
• Desirable: experience in performance management
• A full UK driving licence is essential

Responsibilities

• Manage branch P&L and achieve revenue targets
• Lead, coach and motivate the branch team with timely feedback
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Collaborate with sales to grow revenue opportunities
• Control costs including depreciation, transport and agency spend
• Oversee deliveries and collections to meet customer needs
• Own stock checks and ensure assets are maintained
• Maintain high standards of communication within region and business
