Job summary

Flowtech Thorite is launching a new branch in Skelmersdale and seeks a commercially driven Branch Manager with technical credibility to grow the customer base and shape local strategy. You will build a team, win new business and operate with autonomy supported by Flowtech and Thorite.

You will harness sector knowledge in pneumatics or industrial sales to deliver profitable growth. You’ll work face-to-face with customers, identify opportunities, and lead branch development strategies while

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Face-to-face customer engagement and relationship building.
• Proactive in opening doors, building opportunities and revenue.
• Technical credibility with ability to discuss pneumatics, compressed air or fluid power.
• Willingness to lead as the branch grows.

Responsibilities

• Growing a successful and profitable branch.
• Shaping how the branch develops and identifies local opportunities.
• Developing new business across the local territory and winning accounts.
• Managing and growing new and existing customer relationships.
• Increasing existing customers spend.
• Visiting customers and identifying new opportunities.
• Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to order stage.
• Driving sales growth, margin and profitability.
• Providing technical product advice and solutions.
• Managing the day-to-day operation of the branch.
• Working with suppliers and managing stock.
• Developing the local sales and growth strategy.
• Recruiting and leading additional sales colleagues as the branch expands.
