Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory/assistant manager role within builders’ merchant, timber merchant, landscaping supplier or related trade environment.
• Experience in building materials sector is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with ability to build rapport with trade/retail customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with daily operation of the Basingstoke branch.
• Lead and motivate branch colleagues to deliver customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Build relationships with trade and retail customers and identify opportunities to grow sales.
