Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Service Controller in Grantham to join a brand-new regional team. The role centers on coordinating service, repair and breakdown work, maintaining strong customer relations and ensuring efficient scheduling for field engineers.

You will work with customers, engineers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service, manage inquiries and support the early development of the new branch.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service coordination or desk-based role.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for service, repairs and breakdowns.
• Coordinate daily service desk activities and handle enquiries promptly.
• Plan and allocate jobs to field engineers considering location, skills and urgency.
• Update customers with progress and manage expectations throughout jobs.
• Raise and progress service requests in the ERP/Service management system.
• Prepare quotations for repair work and secure approvals where needed.
• Maintain accurate records and support timely invoicing.
• Work with engineers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
