Job summary

Nationwide Building Society is hiring a Customer Representative for our Grantham branch. You will support customers in person, over the phone and online, handling everyday transactions and queries with care and confidence.

This 12-month fixed-term contract is full-time (35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday). You’ll join a local team serving the community while helping customers access banking services and digital tools.

Qualifications

• Experience or a passion for working in a customer service environment is helpful.
• You don’t need prior banking experience to apply.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while keeping customer needs, security and fairness front of mind.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit their needs.
• Support colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent customer service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot potential issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
