Job summary

City Plumbing in Scotland is seeking a Branch Commercial Sales Manager (Non-Residential) to own the local commercial strategy, shaping a brand-new proposition and driving growth in light and full commercial sectors. You’ll lead the venture from the branch level, building strong client relationships, managing stock, and delivering end-to-end service while hitting sales and margin targets.

This role offers autonomy within a rapidly growing national brand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in growing and maintaining a strong customer base.
• Solid understanding of financial metrics and how to actively impact the bottom line.
• Exceptional collaboration skills to engage with internal branch teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage stock profiles and delivery timescales.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the local Non-Residential & Commercial business plan to hit sales, volume and margin targets.
• Grow the customer base by hunting new business and expanding existing accounts.
• Manage the end-to-end quote process and coordinate with logistics to ensure on-time project delivery (OTIF > 98%).
• Maintain stock profiles and work with local suppliers to offer a bespoke product range.
• Upskill the branch by sharing knowledge and training colleagues.
• Based in-branch, reporting to the Branch Manager and working with the Central Non-Residential management team.
