Job summary

Handelsbanken is seeking an Assistant Banking Manager for our Nottingham Ropewalk branch. You will handle account administration, direct customer contact, electronic banking tasks, and inward transfer processes while working with the branch team to meet business plan goals.

The role requires strong relationship-building abilities, high attention to detail, and proficiency in Word and Excel. You’ll contribute to exceptional customer service and support local professionals through marketing

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.
Must be a strong team player, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Experience with lending documentation, AML/KYC, and MS Word/Excel is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Prepare facility letters and account documentation.
Process lending documentation from credit approval to drawdown, liaising with lawyers and valuers.
Perform ongoing annual account reviews to ensure compliance with documentation.
Carry out account administration for new and existing customers with direct customer contact.
Coordinate with internal and external parties to maintain high levels of customer service.
Support marketing initiatives and help build strong relationships with local professionals.
