JOB TITLE:

Branch Assistant - This role is predominantly Customer Service; however, driving is involved, therefore a full driving license is required.

LOCATION:

Kendal

HOURS:

40 hours per week to be completed between Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00

The role of a Branch Assistant:
  1. Work with the team to provide excellent customer service.
  2. Help maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.
  3. Have a can-do/will-do attitude and be able to work within a small team.
  4. Assist with health and safety compliance.
  5. Be competent with multi-drop deliveries.
  6. Work with the Branch Manager and team to achieve branch performance targets.
  7. Provide cover in the branch when required.
Our ideal Branch Assistant:
  1. Have a friendly, welcoming attitude with energy and passion to meet customer needs.
  2. Be versatile and willing to assist in all aspects of running the branch.
  3. Must have a full valid driving license. A forklift truck license would be preferable, but if not, training will be provided.
  4. Previous experience in a driving role is advantageous.
  5. Have good organisational skills and be IT literate.
  6. Experience in a trade counter environment is preferred but not essential; the right attitude and drive can overcome lack of experience. Full training will be provided.
