Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Ilford, Greater London. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to a young individual who has a cardiac condition as well as using a wheelchair. Your role will involve personal care as well as increasing confidence with communication.

The family follow Islam and are looking for someone that can assist with rites and rituals.

Working Hours:

You part of a team that will be responsible for working the following:

Monday - Friday 15:00 - 23:00

Saturday-09:00-16:00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Providing emotional companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
