Hours: Tuesdays 9.30am-13.30pm
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Due to role responsibilities, you must have a full UK driving licence and business insurance, with access to your own vehicle.
About the Client:
Our client is in her 50s with a brain injury, following an accident. As a result, she has cognitive impairment and memory loss.
In this role, you will support our client socially, getting her out into the community and provide companionship.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver personalized support to our client.
- Assist with daily living activities, social interaction, and accessing the community.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:- Experience in a similar role, preferably with brain injury experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, upbeat, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Valid UK driver's license.
