Job summary

Thriving Healthcare is seeking a committed Support Worker to join a 24/7 home care package in Rotherham, supporting an individual with a severe acquired brain injury. You will help with daily living, mobility and rehabilitation goals while encouraging independence.

Experience in brain injury is beneficial, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are crucial. Extensive training, a multidisciplinary clinical team, and development opportunities are provided, plus a refer a friend scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting individuals with brain injury or complex needs is advantageous.
• Willingness to undertake comprehensive client-specific training.
• Reliable and professional in a 24/7 care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support an individual with severe brain injury at home.
• Assist with daily living, personal care and mobility.
• Promote independence and rehabilitation activities.
• Follow rehabilitation programmes and clinical team recommendations.
• Maintain professional boundaries and collaborate with the care team.
