Job summary

Join Lush HairLab in Brighton as a Braider. You will perform full client journeys from consultation to styling, delivering braiding services with a focus on hair health and client comfort. Build rapport, educate clients, and maintain salon standards.

The role offers a guaranteed base salary of at least GBP 28,000 per year for a five-day work week, plus 15% commission on services and salon-wide bonuses. Flexible perks support work-life balance and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industry experience or demonstrated equivalent expertise.
• Experience running a column of clients and building an existing Brighton-based clientele is a bonus.
• Up-to-date skills and techniques with a focus on Afro hairdressing.

Responsibilities

• Learn and provide Lush HairLab services, including consultation, hair washing, and styling.
• Collaborate with clients to shape their hair identity and build rapport.
• Deliver braiding services to a high standard while considering hair health and client comfort.
• Educate clients on styling at home and maintenance routines.
• Maintain high standards of personal and workspace presentation and hygiene.
