Join Barclays as a Pricing Manager and play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through data-driven pricing strategies and commercial decision-making. This is a highly visible position where you will identify financial opportunities, support pricing initiatives from concept through to implementation, and directly influence business performance. You will support the quarterly corporate repricing process, ensuring pricing decisions are analytical, commercially sound, and deliver measurable value. This role offers the opportunity to combine strong analytical capability with commercial impact, making a tangible contribution to Barclays' growth agenda while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

To be successful as a Pricing Manager, you must have the following essential skills
  • Good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into commercial opportunities.
  • Proven ability to identify financial opportunities and drive initiatives through to completion, delivering measurable revenue and business outcomes.
  • Experience managing pricing, financial analysis, revenue optimisation, or commercial decision-making processes, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Some other highly valued skills may include
  • A degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or another highly numerical or analytical discipline.
  • Experience supporting large-scale pricing reviews, repricing exercises, or revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Self-driven and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, challenge existing practices, and uncover new commercial opportunities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and analytical tools to support business recommendations.

Location: London Westferry or Northampton.

Purpose of the role

To implement data quality process and procedures, ensuring that data is reliable and trustworthy, then extract actionable insights from it to help the organisation improve its operation, and optimise resources.

Accountabilities
  • Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
  • Execution of data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for analysis.
  • Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
  • Development and application of advanced analytical techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve complex business problems.
  • Documentation of data quality findings and recommendations for improvement.

  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.

  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
