Zusammenfassung

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a full-time Specialist Screening Practitioner for the Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire Bowel Screening Programme. The post is based at Great Western Hospital, Swindon, with travel between sites and full training to Level 6/7.

You will work autonomously within a MDT, delivering high-quality, compassionate care to adults aged 50–75 who receive abnormal home bowel screening results, while adhering to programme policies and local trust guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• NMC registered.
• Advanced Diploma or Degree in Nursing with evidence of continuing professional development to post-graduate diploma level.
• At least 3 years post registration experience in a relevant discipline.
• NHS experience.

Aufgaben

• Hold overall responsibility for individuals participating in the bowel screening programme, ensuring thorough assessment and high-quality care.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team and colleagues across sites.
• Support delivery of a consistent, inclusive and equitable screening service for Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire.
• Meet extensive national audit requirements and complete Specialist Screening Practitioner Level 6/7 training.
