Qualifications

  • Continuing training on the Bowel Cancer Screening System (Open Exeter) is mandatory.
  • Experience of the care pathway of the patient undergoing endoscopy and lower gastrointestinal disease is required.

Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the Berkshire Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
  • Undertake assessment, education, and counselling for patients.
  • Work collaboratively with the programme hub and Public Health colleagues.

Skills

Knowledge of the BCSP objectives/targets & standards
Excellent command of spoken and written English
Excellent interpersonal skills
Audit skills
IT knowledge

Education

RGN or appropriate BSc
Evidence of continuing professional development
