Job summary

The Bedford Hotel Belfast is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the Kitchen Team in a boutique hotel setting in Belfast city centre. You will assist in sections, ensure pot-wash standards and overall cleanliness, and help the Head Chef with stock checks and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work varied shifts including weekends.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Support the Kitchen Team with any tasks as required.
• Work the sections ensuring pot-wash standards and cleanliness.
• Display efficient working practices and ensure kitchen utensils, cookware, and crockery are cleaned promptly.
• Assist in stock taking and storage of stock, including checking deliveries.
• Ensure health & safety, cleanliness and food hygiene are followed and COSHH regulations are observed.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties within the job scope.
