Whyte & Mackay is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader/Manager to lead our Bottling Operations. This is a leadership role with real impact, focused on building high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will influence how things are done, foster an inclusive culture and coach others to succeed in a fast-paced FMCG environment with strong union awareness. Based at our Grangemouth facility in Scotland.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams in FMCG/manufacturing environments.
• Strong people management, performance coaching and development skills.
• Proven ability to drive engagement and adapt to change.
• Experience implementing process improvements and delivering operational excellence.
• Knowledge of GMP and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and developing production teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Creating a positive, engaged and inclusive culture where people can thrive.
• Driving performance across safety, quality, service and productivity metrics.
• Managing resource planning, attendance and employee development.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Supporting and leading change initiatives to improve efficiency and performance.
