Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced Bookkeeping Manager for a well established accountancy practice based in Dartford. You will manage a five-strong team and oversee a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely deliveries.

The role requires strong organisational skills, client focus and proficiency with Sage Line 50, VT and QuickBooks. A proactive, leadership-minded approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping, ideally within an accountancy practice.
• Confident managing and overseeing a team.
• Highly organised with strong time management skills.
• Accurate and detail oriented with VAT experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing a team of five based in Dartford.
• Allocating workloads, monitoring deadlines and reviewing work.
• Providing guidance and training to the team.
• Managing a portfolio of clients across varied industries.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and service levels.
• Processing supplier and debtor invoices.
• Carrying out bank reconciliations and VAT submissions.
• Responding to client queries professionally and promptly.
