Job summary

Additional Resources Ltd. is seeking two Bookkeepers (one full-time and one part-time) to join a long-established accountancy practice in the Ipswich/Felixstowe area. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping for a varied client base, with salary £24,780–£30,000 for full-time and pro-rata for part-time.

You’ll work 37.5 hours for full-time or minimum 2 days a week for part-time, with flexible working options. On-site parking and professional development support are offered.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previously worked as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar role.
• Essential: Broad bookkeeping experience required.
• Desirable: Previous accountancy practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing VAT returns, with training available where required.
• Supporting the accounts team with client and internal projects.
• Attending client premises occasionally when required.
• Completing bookkeeping using a range of accounting software.
• Progressing towards managing a portfolio of regular bookkeeping clients with support from colleagues.
