Additional Resources Ltd in Ipswich/Felixstowe area is seeking a Bookkeeper to join an established accountancy practice offering a full range of services to diverse clients.

You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping across client portfolios, assist with VAT returns, and support the accounts team on projects, with occasional client site visits. The role provides training opportunities and clear progression paths.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Broad bookkeeping experience is required.
• VAT return preparation experience (training provided) and experience using Xero.

Responsibilities

• Prepare VAT returns, with training available where required.
• Support the accounts team with client and internal projects.
• Attend client premises occasionally when required.
• Complete bookkeeping using accounting software.
• Progress towards managing a portfolio of regular bookkeeping clients with team support.
