Qualifications

• AAT qualification or working towards AAT qualification.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients across sectors.
• Process purchase and sales invoices.
• Record bank transactions and complete reconciliations.
• Process payments and receipts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare VAT returns and support VAT queries.
• Process payroll where required.
• Maintain purchase and sales ledgers.
• Credit control and monitor outstanding payments.
• Produce management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Collaborate with accountants and the practice team.
• Ensure bookkeeping is completed accurately within deadlines.
• Use accounting software to maintain client records.
