Brook Street in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper on a three-month fixed-term contract with potential to become permanent. You will support a small finance team with accurate processing of financial transactions, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and credit control.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in bookkeeping, GCSEs including Maths and English, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Sage or Sage Intacct. Flexible hours considered; salary £28,000–£30,000 per annum.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounts, finance, or administration.

Mansioni

• Maintain accurate Purchase and Sales Ledger records.
• Process purchase invoices and match them to purchase orders.
• Reconcile customer accounts and sales ledger transactions.
• Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations and ensure correct allocation of transactions.
• Support the credit control function, helping to ensure timely customer payments.
• Respond to customer queries regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist with the cleansing and maintenance of supplier and customer records.
• Provide general administrative support to Senior Management and the wider business.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
