Job summary

The MCS Group represents a Temporary Bookkeeper role in Belfast for a 3-4 day per week schedule. This part-time position covers purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations, with Sage accounting experience preferred.

It’s an initial 3-month contract with potential extension for the right candidate, onsite in the Dargan Area with parking provided. Immediate start is required; salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Experience managing purchase and sales ledgers.
• Strong reconciliation and bank statement matching abilities.
• Proficient with Sage accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase ledger and match invoices to orders.
• Process and reconcile sales ledger transactions.
• Oversee credit control and chase outstanding debts.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and reporting.
