£26,000 to £29,000

Fulwood, Preston

Working:

Full-time, Hybrid (Ideally 3 days per week in the office)

Role Overview:

Job Description

You will join as a Bookkeeper working with commercial clients, smaller OMBs, sole traders, and partnerships across various industries and turnover sizes.

• Bookkeeping using cloud-based products (Kashflow, FreeAgent, Xero), as well as SAGE and Excel
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and assisting with the implementation of cloud accounting technologies
• Training clients in bookkeeping
• Some onsite client-facing work, collaborating with clients and supporting the accounts team
• Office admin support functions
• Candidates should be IAB qualified or hold a similar qualification, with at least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting practice

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
• Desire to expand skills within a progressive accountancy practice
• Keen eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines
