CMD Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper in Swindon on a full-time, permanent basis. You will manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients and build trusted relationships, going beyond data entry to provide valuable financial insight.

You will handle VAT and CIS matters while collaborating with a supportive team to improve clients' financial positions and processes.

Looking for a bookkeeping role where you're more than just a number?

We're looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a friendly and collaborative team in Swindon. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with a portfolio of clients, becoming a trusted part of their businesses rather than simply processing figures from behind the scenes.

You'll have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, use your bookkeeping expertise to make a genuine difference and work alongside an experienced team who are happy to support you and help you develop.

• Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers but also enjoys working with people.
You'll ideally have:

• Previous bookkeeping experience
• Experience using Xero and QuickBooks is an advantage and knowledge of other accounting software is also useful
• Experience with VAT and CIS
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach and a willingness to look for ways to improve processes
• The confidence to communicate directly with clients
